New England Ballet 2011-12 Season Company Auditions

New England Ballet 2011-2012 Season Company Auditions will be held at New England Ballet School, 200 Boston Post Road, Orange, CT on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. New England Ballet Company is a not-for-profit organization committed to the belief that experiencing the performing arts is a vital element in the education of our children. Open auditions are for intermediate to advanced level ballet dancers, at least 12 years of age for company and apprentice positions. New England Ballet Company prepares young dancers for future endeavors through numerous performances and outreach activities. The dancers selected for company positions will work with distinguished faculty, guest artists and choreographers and will benefit from their affiliation with a professional dance company. Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m. Proper ballet attire is required (this includes pointe shoes for women).  The audition will take the form of a two hour intermediate/advanced class. There is a fee of $25 for the class and company fees apply for selected dancers.
