The Orange Land Trust will be leading a guided walk of the Howard Brooks’ Wepawaug Conservation. People should meet at 10 a.m. at the parking lot on Mapledale Road (across from Cherry Hill Road).
This easy to moderate walk will include information on the historical highlights of the area, a view of the old mill site, and a walk through the beautiful Wepawaug Ravine area. “With all the recent rain,” said walk leader Chris Shaw, “the ravine should be a spectacular site.”
Wear appropriate footwear as there are some rocky areas. In case of steady rain, the walk will be postponed.
