On Saturday, April 28 from 2:00pm – 6:00pm at the SGRA Research Center, 284 Racebrook Road, Orange, CT we will present the first part of our new “Preparedness 101” workshop series. The first class will provide an overview of the preparedness series and being with a presentation of what a “Bug Out Bag” is, the essentials it should contain, and why it is so important to have one. The series will present several interactive events including discussions, guest speakers, multimedia presentations, and provide some helpful handouts, hints, and other information.
The events are open to anyone, whether you are a member of SGRA or not, and the cost is only a $5.00 suggested donation per class, and those participating will have the opportunity to register for discounted preparedness items that will be presented and worked with throughout the series.
