This is a supernatural thriller based on real stories from the small town of Point Pleasant in West Virginia where residents reported encounters with an unusual dark creature that has become known as the "Mothman." The creature was sighted in the weeks leading up to a major disaster in the small town, after which the pieces of this strange puzzle seemed to come together and suggest that these sightings had in some way foreseen what was going to happen. Was this strange creature's appearance a warning of what was to come, or was the creature the cause of the disaster?
