Forgot something? Your town taxes maybe?

Reminder Today 2/2/2026 is the last day to pay Supplemental Motor Vehicle or the second payments on your Real Estate or Personal Property without an additional 3% interest charge! The tax window in Town Hall will be open for payments until 4PM for cash credit cards or debit cards. The Express slot in the Tax office on the 1st floor will accept check payments only until 4:30 PM. No receipts will be given for these payments unless accompanied by a self-addressed stamped envelope. Your check is your receipt. DO NOT put your payments in a mailbox! They will be postmarked late (after 2/2/2026) by the Hartford Service Center. Go to a USPS location and have your letter hand cancelled by a postal clerk. Most offices are open to 5PM (call them first). If you miss these time windows you may still go online at https://orange-ctmybill.com and pay by 11:45 PM (Convenience Charges apply).

Payments online after that time may not process a timely payment even if you have a receipt.

We also honor IRS approved Private Carrier Delivery companies, but you still need to have your delivery to them by 2/2/2026. (DHL, Fed Ex, UPS) Ask the clerk or delivery pickup agent to make sure the service you select is on the IRS approved list of Delivery products!
