Gifts for the Troops
Students donate items to make holidays brighter for fighting men and women.

The Turkey Hill School Father's Club sent out a request to all the students in that school for donations of sample sized toiletry items for the troops overseas.
The drive lasted only a week or so, and by Monday, Nov. 14, they had brought in enough to fill the back compartment of a mini van and the back seat, too. Enough, in fact, to make the holidays a little nicer for more than 500 men and women who are now fighting for our country.
"The kids did a wonderful job, and Mrs. Murray, the principal, is great for letting us do this," said Father's Club member Glen Ketchian.

"The kids collected a ton of stuff that will be appreciated, I'm sure," said Bill Kraut, also a member of the Father's Club.
