It is Town Constable and State Marshal Season

Delinquent taxpayers should expect visits

Town Seal
Town Seal (Town of Orange. CT)

Hi folks! The time to catch up on your tax delinquencies is now. Shortly, our Town Constables and our State Marshal will be sent out to collect delinquent taxes. Our Town Constables will have both a town ID card and their badge of office so you can be sure of their identity if they call on you. The State Marshal, Holly Bryck has a state issued ID. If you avail yourself of their services, please be aware they will charge additional fees for the personal collection of at least 15% of the collected amount. They can also bill for mileage and copy costs they incur in collecting your delinquent taxes. The Town Constables and State Marshals have the same authority as I have to collect your tax bill including hitting your bank accounts and closing your business for non-payment!!! Please treat them politely.

Please check our website https://orange-ctmybill.com to review your accounts. Accounts can be collected for 15 years! If you pay online, convenience fees apply, so read the documentation thoroughly. Motor Vehicle bills from 2021 and prior, (2021-03(04)-xxxxxxx) must be paid to our collection agency American National Recovery Group (ANRG) 845-512-8444, first. They also charge additional collection fees of at least 15%.

Remember the worst thing you can do is ignore the Tax Office in these matters. If you have an issue. We need to know about it! 203-891-4736. (Silence is leaden.)
