Larceny Charge For Orange Man Who Tried To Steal Parking Sign: PD
The incident occurred on the morning of Nov. 11.

ORANGE, CT — An 86-year-old Orange man was arrested on a charge of sixth-degree larceny on Nov. 11 after police said he tried to steal a parking sign.
The incident occurred just before noon when officers were called to Orange Center Road on a report of "suspicious activity" involving a man seen removing a town-posted parking sign.
"Officers' investigation revealed that Frank C. Rogers took sign and drove off with it," wrote police officials in a statement. "Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged."

Rogers was released on a promise to appear in court on Nov. 22.
