UPDATE: 4 People Charged in Large Fight at Chip's Restaurant; 2 People Injured
Orange police say Wednesday evening that a fourth person has been charged in the fight inside Chip's that left two people injured.
Earlier today, Orange police told us about a large fight that broke out inside of Chip’s Restaurant in which a table was flipped over and landed on an elderly customer and a small child causing injuries.
Three Bridgeport men were arrested, police initially announced, but on Wednesday evening police said a fourth person was also charged.
While all heck was breaking loose inside Chip’s Saturday morning, police say Angel Hernandez, 22, of Pearl Street in Bridgeport, who was part of the original group that initiated the fight at Chip’s, had left the restaurant with his companion and was walking along Route 1.

Police say Hernandez got into an argument with his companion and twice almost pushed her into traffic. He was charged with breach of peace and released on a $1,000 bond.
Back at Chip’s, police say the melee occurred at 9:39 a.m. Saturday at the 321 Boston Post Road restaurant.

Police said Joel Martinez, 20, of Park Street, Abner Morales, 31, of Arctic Street, and Matthew Sawyer, 29, of Kossuth Street, all of Bridgeport, were seated inside the restaurant causing a disturbance when other customers asked them to quiet down and watch their language.
The arrestees took exception to this and flipped over a table which landed on an elderly customer and a small child, police said.
Officers had to quell a chaotic scene upon arrival, as there were approximately 100 patrons in the restaurant at the time, police said.
Medical attention was provided to the injured parties, police said.
Each arrestee was charged with risk of injury and breach of peace and they were released after posting a $500 bond.
Officers later learned that arrestee Morales had an additional warrant on file with the Bridgeport Police Department. This warrant was served at the time of the Orange Police Department incident as well.
