
Learn to Save with Energy Efficient ENERGY STAR® Products at Home Depot
WHAT: October 2013 is Energize Connecticut Month, a public effort to encourage businesses and residents to make smart energy choices. As part of this initiative, the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund, with its utility partners Connecticut Light & Power (CL&P) and The United Illuminating Company (UI), is hosting an event to educate the public about the benefits of ENERGY STAR®-certified lighting, insulation, appliances, heating and hot water solutions and other energy efficient products at Home Depot in Orange, CT. The free event is open to the public and will be held on Sun. Oct. 27, 2013, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
The public will have the opportunity to speak with energy efficiency experts regarding ENERGY STAR appliances. These appliances are environmentally friendly, use less energy, and help families and businesses save money in the long run.
