Long-Term Road Project Begins Tonight In Orange

The State of Connecticut DOT funded project to improve the intersection of Derby Avenue (RT34) and Baldwin Road will begin this evening will an expected completion date of late October 2019.

The project will involve adding and expanding the turn lanes onto Baldwin Road from Derby Avenue and the installation of a traffic control signal. Construction will be scheduled to minimize the impact on Derby Avenue traffic during peak travel times which will necessitate some overnight work. Please be cognizant of the workers' presence and drive safely.
