Major UI Project To Lead To Road Closures In Orange

**Traffic Advisory**

On April 2, 2019, between the hours of 9a-12p, the United Illuminating Company will be working on a major project here in Orange. UI will have crews, accompanied by Orange PD officers, 'cutting over' service lines in certain parts of town.

The work will happen primarily on Old Tavern Road between Narrow Lane and Lambert Road, and also on Orange Center Road between Mary Circle and Old Tavern Road. Some side streets in these areas will also be affected.

The work will require road closures, detours, and traffic delays. The electric power will be out in these areas during the time frame mentioned, and there will be occasions where lines may be down across the roadway.
