Man Accused of Assaulting Relative Outside of Orange Restaurant

Orange police say Antoine Heath, 28, Blake Street in New Haven, is accused of assaulting a relative in the parking lot of a local restaurant on October 25.

Police said officers served a warrant on Heath after he surrendered himself at police headquarters, where he was taken into custody and charged.

The warrant was the culmination of an investigation that began after a relative of the arrestee reported that she had been assaulted by him in the parking lot of a local restaurant on October 25.

Heath was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. He was released after posting $15,000 bond.
