Man Arrested At Orange Bank On Forgery, Larceny Charges: PD

Police say the man was initially held in lieu of bond.

ORANGE, CT — A New Haven man is accused of fraudulently trying to cash a check at a local bank in the amount of $2,460, Orange police said. On Oct. 20, officers responded to Webster Bank at 247 Boston Post Road for a forgery complaint, police said.

Police said Tyrese M. Cloud, 38, of New Haven, was at the bank trying to open up an account using a fraudulent check in the amount of $2,460, police said. He was taken into custody and changed with third-degree larceny and second-degree forgery charges. He was initially held in lieu of a $2,500 bond.
