Man Charged With Assault and Robbery Offenses: Orange Police
The accused was initially held in lieu of a $15,000 bond.

ORANGE, CT — A New Haven man is being held in lieu of a $15,000 bond for several charges in Orange, police said. Chris Jowers, 40, of New Haven was held on a $15,000 surety bond, police said.
On Nov. 9, officers responded to the New Haven Police Department who had Jowers in custody for an unrelated charge, police said.
It was discovered that Jowers had an active warrant out of the Town of Orange, police said. Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged with third-degree assault, third-degree robbery, sixth-degree larceny, second-degree unlawful restraint, and disorderly conduct.
