Man Charged With Murder In Orange Tire Shop Shooting Case: Police

A man has been charged with murder in connection to a fatal shooting at a Town Fair Tire​ in Orange last year, according to police.

ORANGE, CT — A New Haven man was charged with murder Tuesday in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred last year at a Town Fair Tire in Orange, according to police.

In a Facebook post, police said they served Terrance Allen, 24, formerly of New Haven, an arrest warrant charging him with murder, as well as tampering with/fabricating physical evidence and criminal possession of a firearm.

Allen's bond was set at $1 million. He remains in the custody of the Connecticut Department of Correction, where he has been since last year.

Police identified Allen as a suspect in the shooting last year. According to police, Allen is accused of fatally shooting Joshwua Figueroa, 27, of New Haven, at the 63 Boston Post Road business around 8:50 a.m. on Dec. 26.

Police said the shooting occurred inside one of the service bays of Town Fair Tire and the victim was shot multiple times. Allen was working as an employee of Town Fair Tire at the time of the shooting, authorities said.
