Man Charged With Robbery At Home Depot: Orange Police

The accused was released on a $10,000 bond.

ORANGE, CT — A Waterbury man is facing robbery and larceny charges after he is accused of stealing items from Home Depot at 440 Boston Post Road, police said. On Feb. 6, officers responded to 440 Boston Post Road (Home Depot) for a report of a shoplifting, police said.

It was discovered that Jonathan J. Brown, 33, of Waterbury, pushed a loss prevention employee in an attempt to remove items from the store, police said.

Officers found that he took $947 worth of merchandise, police said. Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged with third-degree robbery, fifth-degree larceny, first-degree criminal trespass, and second-degree threatening. He posted a $10,000 bond.
