Man Concealed Nearly $800 Worth Of Stolen Merchandise On His Body: Orange Police

Police said they arrived at the business just as the accused was exiting the store.

ORANGE, CT — A New Haven man is accused of concealing nearly $800 worth of merchandise on his body that he didn't pay for, Orange police said. On Sept. 11 officers responded to the Burlington Coat Factory at 80 Boston Post Road in regards to a shoplifting in progress, police said.

Upon arrival, officers located Rashea J. King, 36, of New Haven, exiting the store with $767.74 worth of stolen merchandise on his person, police said. He was taken into custody and charged with fifth-degree larceny and possession of a shoplifting device.
