Man Placed Harassing Phone Calls/Texts to Attorney in Divorce Case: Orange Police

ORANGE, CT — A Fairfield man is accused of placing harassing phone calls/texts to an attorney involved in a divorce case, police said.
Police said George Chkheidze, 48, of Fairfield, surrendered himself at police headquarters after learning of a warrant for his arrest.
The warrant stemmed from some harassing phone calls/texts the arrestee sent to the attorney in a divorce case, police said.

The attorney reported these messages to police, and a warrant was obtained and served earlier this month, police said.
Chkeidze is charged with breach of peace. He was released on a promise to appear in Superior Court, Derby on Nov. 28.
