Man Ran Through Parking Lot With Stolen Merchandise: Orange PD
The accused was initially held in lieu of a $20,000 bond.

ORANGE, CT — A New Haven man is being held in lieu of a $20,000 bond after he is accused of shoplifting from Kohl's in Orange, police said.
Officers responded to 250 Bull Hill Lane for a shoplifting incident. Officers observed Luis M. Torres, 25, running through an adjacent parking lot with merchandise in his hands, police said. Torres took $310 worth of merchandise without paying for it, police said. He was subsequently taken into custody and charged with sixth-degree larceny and second-degree failure to appear.
