Man Runs Down Street With BB Gun: Orange Police

Police say they responded to a report of a man running with a firearm, which ended up leading to an arrest.

ORANGE, CT — Orange Police say they recently responded to a report of a man running with a firearm, which ended up leading to an arrest.

On March 16, officers responded to 130 Boston Post Road for a report of a male running down the street holding a firearm, police said. Officers found Arthur R. Moore, 21, of New Haven in the area, police said.

Moore stated that he had a BB gun in his backpack and that he was running through a parking lot with the BB gun in his hand, police said. Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged with second-degree breach of peace. He was released after posting a $500 bond.
