Man Set Off Illegal Fireworks: Orange Police

Police said that they had received several 911 phone calls from residents complaining of loud explosions.

ORANGE, CT — A Florida man is accused of setting off illegal fireworks in Orange, police said. Police said on Nov. 27 officers responded to a Riverside Drive house in regard to several phone calls regarding loud explosions in the area, police said.

It was discovered that Alan Plumber, 61, of Florida was in possession of illegal fireworks and he admitted to setting them off, police said.

He is charged with illegal possession of explosives, second-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree breach of peace. He was released on a $15,000 bond.
