Man Shoplifts Twice In Same Day From ShopRite: Orange PD

Police said they recently responded to the grocery store on a larceny report.

ORANGE, CT — A West Haven man is accused of shoplifting twice in the same day from ShopRite, police said. On Nov. 27, officers responded to 259 Bull Hill Lane for a shoplifting that had just occurred, police said.

Officers’ investigation revealed that Errol F. Hyman, 26, of West Haven, had entered ShopRite twice during the course of said date, police said.

The first time he took $18.20 worth of merchandise and the second time he took $19.54 worth of merchandise from ShopRite without paying for it, police said. Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged with two counts of sixth-degree larceny.
