Man Stole $1,200 Worth of Jewelry from Orange Relative: Police
Orange police said another relative returned the stolen jewelry to the victim's house.

ORANGE, CT — A relative is accused of stealing $1,200 worth of jewelry from an Orange resident, police said.
Officers investigated a larceny complaint at a private residence on Tyler City Road, police said last month. Officers learned that the arrestee, Brett Rebhun, 46, of West Haven, was related to the homeowner there, and had entered her home without permission, police said.
While inside, he took approximately $1,200 worth of jewelry, then left, police said. A different relative found the jewelry in the arrestee’s possession and returned it to the owner, police said. Officers took Rebhun into custody and he was charged with fourth-degree larceny, police said.
