Man Stole Registration Plate Off Of Car: Orange Police
Police said they stopped the vehicle and an arrest was made.

ORANGE, CT — A Guilford man is accused of stealing a registration plate, Orange police said. On Oct. 12, while officers were on routine patrol, they discovered a motor vehicle traveling south on Marsh Hill Road with a stolen registration plate out of New Haven, police said.
Officers made a vehicle stop and found that Paul C. Defonzo, 46, of Guilford, was the driver and had taken a registration plate that did not belong to him to use for his personal use, police said. He was taken into custody and charged with sixth-degree larceny, misuse registration plate, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and failure to display registration plate, police said.
