Man Told to Leave TGI Fridays in Orange by Friends, Slashes Tires: Police

Orange police say the group which arrived at the restaurant began to argue among themselves.

ORANGE, CT - A New Haven man who was told to leave TGI Fridays restaurant in Orange by the group he arrived with is accused of slashing the tires of a vehicle that drove him there, police said.

Orange police officers responded to the parking lot of the TGI Fridays restaurant at 348 Boston Post Road for a vandalism complaint, police said.

Officers learned that the arrestee, Carl Talbot, 28, of Lloyd Street, had arrived at the restaurant with a group of people, but that the group got into an argument among themselves, and told Talbot to leave, police said.

Talbot did leave, but allegedly slashed the tires of the vehicle that had brought him there before he left, police said. He was subsequently taken into custody and charged with third-degree criminal mischief.

He was released on a promise to appear in court.
