Man Tries to Steal McDonald's Employee's Car: Orange PD

He was initially held on bond.

ORANGE, CT — A Brooklyn, New York man is accused of trying to steal a McDonald's employee's car, police said. Officers responded to the parking lot of the McDonald's restaurant, 57 Boston Post Road in Orange, in late March for a reported theft complaint, police said.

When employees were leaving for the night they found Franco Harris, 55, inside their vehicle, attempting to steal it, police said. The accused fled the scene but officers found him a short distance away, police said.

He is charged with third-degree burglary, attempted third-degree larceny and second-degree breach of peace. He was initially held in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
