Man Won't Leave House, Destroys Property: Orange Police

The accused was originally held in lieu of bond.

ORANGE, CT — A Milford man is facing several charges after he allegedly refused to leave a house and proceeded to damage property, Orange police said.

On Aug. 18, officers responded to a Drummond Road house in regards to a disorderly conduct complaint, police said. Officers’ investigation revealed that Bruck K. Jelliffe, 34, of Milford, was asked to leave the residence, police said.

However, he remained and continued to destroy property at the residence, police said. Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree criminal mischief and first-degree criminal trespass. To sign up for Orange breaking news alerts and more, click here.

He was initially held in lieu of a $2,500 bond.
