Manslaughter Arrest After Orange Chase: PD
An intoxicated man fled police and crashed into another vehicle, killing the driver, police said.

WEST HAVEN, CT — A West Haven man was arrested after a fatal crash that happened during a police chase in West Haven, according to police. Robert Kryzkij, 46, was fleeing police in Orange and crossed into West Haven after a crash.
Kryzkij crashed his Toyota Sienna after crossing the double yellow line on Meloy Road Nov. 9, 2017. He then crashed it head on into another vehicle operated by Philip Hunt, 55, who was killed in the crash.
State Police took over the investigation. Kryzkij was arrested July 16 and charged with first-degree manslaughter, second-degree manslaughter with a motor vehicle, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, DUI, evasion of responsibility, operating a vehicle without a license and failure to drive in proper lane. Bond was set at $100,000.
