Marsh Hill Road Development Discussed In Orange

The mixed-use project would include affordable housing units.

ORANGE, CT — Discussion of a proposed mixed-use development in Orange at 65-69 Marsh Hill Road was continued Tuesday night by the town's Planning and Zoning Commission, reports the New Haven Register.

The project, developed by Sixty Five Marsh Hill Road LLC, includes more than a dozen affordable housing units under the state's controversial 8-30g regulations.

Those rules give developers an edge in creating projects in communities that are considered to not contain enough affordable housing.
