Meet the Artists and Artisans this Weekend
Inaugural arts and crafts show at the Orange Fairgrounds Saturday and Sunday.
The name Denise morris Curt is synonymous with beautifully executed arts and crafts fairs in Connecticut.
She is well-known in Milford and Mystic and if all goes well this weekend, hers will also be a household name in Orange after the premier production of the "MEET THE ARTISTS AND ARTISANS" show at the Orange Fairgrounds this Saturday and Sunday.
After months of planning and securing all the necessary town approvals, morris Curt is confident that this will be a legendary fine art and hand craft show.

She has attracted juried exhibitors from as far away as Arizona who will share their creative endeavors with the public.
Curt takes care of all the details herself ensuring that all visitors (and exhibitors) are happy with their experience.

Unusual, ancient and contemporary styled works will be sold and presented by their creators..Mosaic and inlaid marble tables, on site wood carving of shore birds, oil paintings of animals, scissor silhouette portraits, sketchers and etchers, antique map makers, Limnings painted with gem and mineral pigments upon stilled violins.
Prize winning watercolors of sea, sail, light house on nautical maps, New Haven’s architectural landmarks. Ceramics & pottery that make you sigh, along with photographs of secret refuges & serene places.
Mammoth metal sculptures of ballerinas, horses, and giraffes mixed with stone heads and kinetic wind sculptures for your garden. The Orange Historic Society will present their original publications, and the Orange Garden Club will sell plants.
In addition, three authors will be on hand to sign their illustrated books, and jewelers, glass makers, floral designers, clothiers, discuss their work. Tim Payson fills the air with classical jazz keyboard.
The food court with Grecian Delights, Italian Ice, fresh lemonade, Maui Wowie fruit smoothies, Boy Scouts-American grill hamburgs-franks, salads, topped huge baked potatoes, pulled pork, Di Roma sauces.
The event offers free admission and parking. Conveniently located at the Orange Fairgrounds on Rt. 152, next to the High Plains Community Center at 525 Orange Center Road. It will take place rain or shine on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Most importantly to morris Curt was that indoor restroom facilities would be available.
