Milford Man Arrested At Orange Restaurant: Police

Police said the man tried to make a run for it.

ORANGE, CT — A Milford man is accused of causing a disturbance at an Orange-based restaurant and then trying to run from police officers, police said. On August 4, officers responded to 326 Boston Post Road, Gabriele Restaurant, for a disturbance, police said.

Upon arrival, Michael J. Miner, 40, of Milford, was spotted outside the business and he was asked to "stop," police said. Miner proceeded to accelerate his pace across the parking lot and ran behind the commercial building, police said.

Officers caught up to Miner and he was taken into custody and charged with second-degree breach of peace and interfering with an officer. He was released on a $10,000 non-surety bond.
