Milford Man Charged With DUI In Orange: Police

ORANGE, CT — A Milford man is accused of driving while while under the influence of alcohol or drugs in Orange, police said. On Sept. 1, officers responded to the area of Racebrook and Indian River roads on a report of an erratic driver, police said.

Officers observed Jeetendrakumar Patel, 45, of Milford, driving erratically by drifting in and out of his lane and hitting a curb, police said. Patel was stopped and asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests, police said. He was taken into custody and charged with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drug and failure to drive in proper lane.
