Milford Woman Left Scene Of Accident In Orange: Police
Police say they located a piece of the vehicle's front bumper that had been left behind at the scene, which helped lead them to the accused.

ORANGE, CT — A Milford woman is accused of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident in Orange, police said. At 8:05 p.m. on Sept. 26, officers responded to the area of Lambert Road and Tyler City Road for an evading motor vehicle accident, police said.
Officers located a piece of the vehicle's front bumper that had been left behind at the scene, police said. The vehicle registration plate was still attached to that piece of bumper, police said.
A DMV query revealed a Milford address, police said. Upon arrival at the Milford residence, officers met with Doreen D. Baye, 53, and police investigation revealed she was the driver of the evading accident, police said.

She was taken into custody and charged with evading motor vehicle accident and failure to obey stop sign.
