Nanny - Orange Resident - Stole From Naugatuck Family: Police

Police said the accused stole clothes, shoes, pocketbooks, and jewelry.

NAUGATUCK, CT — An Orange resident, who was serving as a Naugatuck family's nanny, is accused of stealing from them, Naugatuck Police said. On April 20, Sarah Kraft-Kelemen, 29, of Russell Avenue in Orange, was charged on a warrant, police said.

The warrant was for a larceny reported on March 9, police said. She is accused of stealing shoes, pocketbooks, jewelry, and other clothing from the victim, police said.

The accused was employed by the victim as a nanny at the time of the thefts, police said. Kraft-Kelemen was given a court date of May 3 and is charged with first-degree larceny.
