New Assistant Principal At Amity High

The Board of Education has announced that Frank Barretta will serve as assistant principal at Amity Regional High School.

Barretta is currently the high school mathematics department chairman and has been with the high school since 2000.

He was selected from a pool of more than 80 candidates.

“I’m very excited to become a part of the administrative team at Amity Regional High School. I’ve been a member of this district for fifteen yeas and am very proud of the achievements of all its students, faculty and staff,” he said.

Superintendent Charles Dumais said he has constantly been impressed by Barretta’s focus on students and approach to educational leadership.
