Orange police say the incident occurred at Restaurant Depot earlier this month.

Orange police officers say they responded to the Restaurant Depot at 181 Marsh Hill Road store for a reported shoplifter.
Officers learned that the arrestee, Fabian Contreras, 41, of Oswalt Avenue, allegedly attempted to conceal $53.96 worth of seafood in a larger package and attempted to leave the store without paying, police said. He was stopped by store security and detained for police.
He is charged with sixth-degree larceny and released on a promise to appear in Superior Court, Derby on Sept. 22.
