The Orange Times reports that there appears to be three candidates for the town's top spot.

ORANGE, CT — The field of first selectman candidates is growing in Orange as Margaret Novicki has announced she plans to seek the Democratic Party's nomination. Novicki told The Orange Times Editor Joseph Cole that she loves the town and has plans on making it even better. She served the United Nation for 22 years and has traveled the world. She retired last month.
Also announcing plans to run for first selectman include Alex DeAngelo, 24, who is hoping to be on the ballotas an Independent candidate. He has worked as an intern for the Kansas City Chief and Philadelphia 76ers. He works in construction in Milford. He told The Orange Times that the town is great and he has ideas to move it even more forward.
Novicki and DeAngelo will face an uphill battle in trying to unseat popular GOP First Selectman James Zeoli, who is finishing up his sixth-term. Zeoli has won his past few elections by wide margins.
