ORANGE, CT — Carolyn H. (Marcovich) Contardi, 74, of Orange passed away February 24, 2023. Born in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Helen (Buturla) Marcovich.

Carolyn graduated summa cum laude from Southern Connecticut State College in 1970 and taught Spanish in Stratford Public Schools.

Carolyn is survived by her husband Gene, of Orange, her daughter Lisa, of Bolton, sister, Patricia (Edward) Zelinsky, of Guilford, and brother, Stephen, of Fairfield.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Infant Church, 450 Racebrook Road, Orange, CT. (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH) Interment will follow at Saint Michael Cemetery, Stratford, CT.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any local animal shelter in her name.
