Dolores A. Rescigno Amato 79, of New Haven formerly of Orange wife of the late Robert E. Amato passed away on July 8, 2016 in CT. Hospice.

Loving mother of Lisa Amato of East Haven and Robert M. Amato of New Haven. Grandmother of Michael, Anthony and Mario Massimino, Robert A. (Sara) Amato and Katelyn (Lawlor) Amato. Great grandmother of Guiliana and Emmy Amato. Sister of Ann Graziano of New Haven. Aunt of Cherie (Sal) Esposito and Richard Graziano. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Companion of Salvatore DeNuzzo of New Haven.

Dolores was born in New Haven on February 28, 1937 daughter of the late Alphonse and Elsie Fusco Rescigno.

Prior to her retirement Dolores was employed at Biagetti's Restaurant of West Haven.

Relatives and friends are invited to go DIRECTLY to St. Bernadette Church TUESDAY morning at 10:00 A.M. to celebrate A Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Lawrence Cemetery.
