On December 16, 2022, Joan (Fiore) Vargo of Orange, CT passed away to join the love of her life, her husband, Andy.

Joan was born on March 28, 1931 in White Plains New York and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She waited to work until all the children were in school and then worked as a Para in the Milford school system and later at Casanova Candies, followed by their own cleaning business. Joan above all loved her husband and family, game nights, family parties and watching the Uconn girls basketball games with dad.

Joan was predeceased by her husband Andrew,, her parents, Anthony and Margaret Fiore, brother Vincent, sister in laws, Marge, Irene, niece Laura grandson Joshua. She is survived by her sister in law Jean Vargo, six children, Peggy (Tony) Cirillo, Richard (Jean) Vargo, Jeffrey (Grace) Vargo, Janice (Bruce) Varga, Andrew (Paulette) Vargo, Jennifer (Mark) DiLauro and her grandchildren, Jason (Rika) Cirillo, Corey (Patty) Cirillo, Kaitlyn (Joe) Teta, Mark Vargo, Samantha (Mike) Fowler, Lauren (Marco) Palumbo, Amanda (Dan) Zapatka, Ashley Vargo, Derek Varga, Ryan Varga, Kilee (Joe) Richardson, Drew Vargo, Molly Vargo, Emma DiLauro, Jack DiLauro, Olivia DiLauro, great grandchildren, Ryu, Riki, Lyla, Jack, Aidan, Jackson, Ava, Kimberly, Saoirse, Roman, Luca and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Infant Church, 450 Racebrook Road, Orange, CT 06477. Interment will be private.
