Obituary: John J. Dacier, 57, Of Orange

John, a Ford Mustang enthusiast, worked as an engineer and manager at Madison Polymeric for over 30 years and adopted many rescue animals.

ORANGE, CT — (From West Haven Funeral Home): John J. Dacier, 57, of Orange, passed away unexpectedly on August 5, 2022. His cherished family includes his very best friend and wife of 31 years Cynthia Ramadon Dacier.

John is also survived by his mother Regina Dacier, his brothers Richard, Tim and Chris (Marianne) Dacier; and his treasured niece and nephew Ana and Thomas, who loved him dearly. He is preceded into heaven by his father, Joseph Dacier. John also departs his in-laws, Edward and Patty Ramadon, Sr, who loved him as a son, Cindy’s siblings Patricia (Joseph) Arnett and Edward (Heidi) Ramadon, Jr. He cherished his niece Morgan Ramadon, his nephews David (Kelly) Arnett and Jacob Ramadon and his great nieces Caroline and Noelle, all of whom adored him.

A graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, John worked as an engineer and manager at Madison Polymeric for over 30 years. John was a Ford Mustang enthusiast, and his hobbies included skiing, hiking, and above all, spending time with his beloved wife. He and Cindy adopted many rescue animals over the years, bringing them tremendous joy. He will be missed by all.
