Obituary: Randall ‘Randy’ LeGault, 43, Of Orange

He was outgoing & always knew the right thing to say. His boys were the light of his life and he enjoyed coaching them in soccer & baseball.

Randall “Randy” LeGault, 43, passed away suddenly at his home in Orange on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020. He was born on December 1, 1976 in Ypsilanti, MI, son of Anthony L. LeGault and the late Sharon Patricia (Stone) LeGault.

Randy was raised in Cheshire and graduated Cheshire High School, Class of 1995, and earned his Bachelor’s degree from CCSU, Class of 1999. He worked for many years in hospitality, but most recently in sales with Soldier Solutions, providing opportunities for local veterans. Randy was an outgoing person who always knew the right thing to say. His boys were the light of his life and he enjoyed coaching them in soccer and baseball. He cheered for the Detroit Lions and the New York Yankees.

Randy leaves his cherished sons, Trevor and Derek LeGault and their mother, Shannon LeGault of Orange. He is also survived by his father, Anthony LeGault of Cheshire; his sister, Kristin Lombardi and her husband, Keith of Avon; and his loving nieces and nephews, Paige, Kate and Evan Lombardi of Avon; Adeline, Colby and Camden LeGault and their mother, Cindy LeGault of Farmington; Gabrielle LeGault of Trumbull; Cole and Ryan Michel of Orange; and Kyle and Mason Lockery of Cheshire. Randy was predeceased by his brother Stephen LeGault.

Friends may greet Randy’s family at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 So. Main Street, Cheshire, CT 06410 on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of his family. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Trevor and Derek LeGault Scholarship Fund, c/o The Milford Bank, 33 Broad Street, Milford, CT 06460.
