The single most pressing issue facing Orange is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

People move to Orange because of the excellent schools. I want to continue to support and maintain our great schools and do so in a fiscally responsible manner. Working with our neighboring Amity towns of Bethany and Woodbridge to share resources is important.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

All the candidates for this office want what is best for the children of Orange. I want to be sure we are part of any conversation about regionalizing schools in our area.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

I held leadership positions during my teaching career. I bring the experience of being part of an education system, my experience as a parent of four children who all went to the Orange and Amity schools, and my ability to communicate effectively to the table. I truly loved teaching and want to stay connected to the world of school in my retirement.
