He is married to a retired teacher, wife Debbie, and they have two children and three grandchildren.

Financing and efficient use of funds to provide top quality and well coordinated education. Examine realignment of our local and regional school districts and a restructuring of the budgetary process.

I have extensive experience in education and governmental education policy.

Looking for better articulation of curriculum amount primary and secondary levels. Greater cooperation and reduced duplication of position amount our local school districts.

34 years as a middle and high school teacher. 10 years as a member of the legislative education committee during which I supported numerous improvement to state education statutes.

Positive change is usually the result of agreements that no one finds entirely positive.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I always work to find positive middle ground and never disparage opposing positions based on political affiliations.
