Orange Candidate Profile: Santo Galatioto For Planning & Zoning

ORANGE, CT — Election day in Orange is drawing closer, and to help residents make an informed decision on Nov. 5, Orange Patch asked candidates for various elected offices to answer questions about their campaigns and the issues in town.

Santo Galatioto, 37, is a teacher and holds Masters degrees in Social Studies and Education, and in Administration. He has also been a constable in Orange since 2009.

The single most pressing issue facing Orange is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

Planning and Zoning must make sure there is a good balance of business and housing for the residents of Orange. Help bring affordable housing for our aging population to the town.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I think we all care about the town and want Orange to be the best place it can be to raise our children and families.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I am a life long Orange Resident, I care deeply about the Town. I would like to be a part of the commissions that help mark Orange the wonderful town it is.
