Orange Fire Department Battles Chimney Fire
The fire broke out Sunday evening at a local house.

ORANGE, CT — The Orange Volunteer Fire Department battled a chimney fire on Sunday night. At 4:30 p.m. the Fire Department responded to a report of a chimney fire.
Engine 34, Ladder 37 and Car 2 arrived on scene in 4 minutes, and began mitigating the incident, fire officials said. Engine 35 and Rescue 1 arrived shortly thereafter. Members operated inside the residence and on the roof for approximately 45 minutes, isolating the fire to the chimney and fire place, preventing fire spread to the rest of the structure.
