Orange Man Assaults Youth With Phone: Police
The accused was released on a $5,000 bond, police said.

ORANGE, CT — An Orange man is accused of assaulting a minor with a phone, police said. Police said officers responded to a private residence on Cummings Drive in regard to a disturbance. Officers learned that Kurt Fritz, 60, of Orange had an argument with a minor-aged relative, police said.
During the argument, Frtiz threw his cell phone at the victim, striking the victim in the head, police said. He was taken into custody and charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
He was released after posting a $5,000 bond.
