Orange Man Given $50K Bond: Police

Police went to an area hospital to take the accused into custody, police said.

ORANGE, CT — An Orange resident was initially held in lieu of a $50,000 bond after being charged on an arrest warrant, police said.

On Nov. 27, police officers responded to St. Raphael’s Hospital to take Stephen A. Thompson, 43, of Orange, into custody, police said. Thompson had an active arrest warrant with the Town of Orange from an incident that occurred on Nov. 19, police said.

Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct, risk of injury and first-degree reckless endangerment.
