Orange Man Hits Woman With Closed Fist: Milford Police

MILFORD, CT — An Orange man is accused of assaulting a woman, Milford Police said. On Feb. 5, police took custody of Javier Gonzalez-Diaz, 33, of Grassy Hill Road in Orange in regard to an active arrest warrant, police said.

He is accused of striking a woman in the face with a closed fist while at a Milford motel on Jan. 18, police said.

He is charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. He was released on a promise to appear in court.
